Drop-In Resource Centre
Our Resource Centre is a welcoming, judgment-free space open to everyone in the community—regardless of age, gender, or background. Whether you're in need or simply want to support others, this space is built by the community, for the community.
Entirely donation-based, the centre offers free access to gently used clothing, household items, and hygiene products (new only). We do not accept or distribute furniture due to limited space. Anyone is welcome to visit and take home up to two bags of items they need—completely free of charge.
Our selection changes with the seasons, so we accept all-season and occasion wear year-round. You’ll be greeted by friendly volunteers and placement students who are there to assist, offer support, or simply provide a listening ear.
The Resource Centre operates around the school calendar and is closed during the summer, P.A. Days, and snow days. We will reopen for the fall on September 2nd, with regular hours on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays from 1 PM – 3 PM. You can find us at 37 Burton Avenue, in the lower level of the church.
We encourage our community to donate what they can and to take what they need. Together, we create a stronger, more supported Barrie.
